MY MISSION
A lot of people associate reading with schoolwork or studying, and therefore: boring. Some consider it tedious, like a chore that they just want to get over with, and others don't even bother with it at all.
Lots of people, myself included, loved reading as a kid, but lost touch with it in their adult life, owing to lack of time, lack of interest, or a combination of both.
No matter what your relationship is with books and reading, I'm so glad you're here.
Personally, I believe that reading is one of the most exciting and fulfilling ways to spend our time.
Reading can open our eyes to new cultures, concepts, and ideas, challenging the way we think and interact with others. It can transport us to another place and time, and turn everyday life into a grand adventure. We can escape reality through the pages, and come back with newfound knowledge and perspective that can help us go on to shape a brighter future. Most of all, it's fun!
Reading is my happy place and it has changed my life for the better, and I'm hoping to show others how it can do the same for them.​
MY FAVORITE THINGS
I firmly believe that having a reading space that brings you joy is essential for the full reading experience.
For me, nothing beats lighting a candle, making some tea, curling up with a fluffy blanket , and getting lost in whatever I'm reading at the time. It's my favorite way to wind down or spend one of those rare free afternoons.
Of course, everyone is different and I encourage you to find the reading environment where you feel most at peace, whether it's a quiet spot in nature, your favorite coffee shop, or a cozy corner of your bedroom.
These are things that I personally have and love in my reading space, so I wanted to share them.
